From my Misspent Youth.

By teatime I had no blip so had a rummage in the garage. I found a box full of old model soldiers of which the above is a small sample. They are all hand painted by myself, about one inch (25millimetres in new money) tall, around fifty years old and from manufacturers now long defunct.
Clockwise from the top left are, Greek hoplites and a Roman legionary, English archer and Genoese crossbowman from the Middle Ages, Napoleonic infantry and seventeenth century pikeman & arquebusier.
Another rather chilly day but dry so we were only too happy to get out and away for our daily exercise. We could do with just a little more warmth please.
