Another Rose

Mistress found this on our short walk today and two tiny flies having a party in it's petals. The rose was a big one, not sure what it was, but the Mistress mentioned something about it being nice and healthy, which is surprising in the heat we're getting. The flies were tiny so the Mistress wondered if they were young.

Just as well the walks are short as not long after getting home, all these people arrived. The Mistress had forgotten she was hosting the signed singing practise at her house this morning. A quick rush to get changed out of her gardening clothes. Fortunately someone bought some biscuits to have with the cups of teas as no baking had been done either!

I think it's time the Mistress got a diary!
