Today’s title was snitched from Private Eye at the beginning of effective lockdown, although I notice everyone including the FM now just says lockdown. Similar language sloppiness to EU Exit which very quickly, even here in Scotland became Brexit. The nuance for me is important.
I seem to be on a roll, as they say with this, so much so that I have ordered another slightly more ambitious one based on Monet’s lily pond which should keep me going beyond the end of May.
Felt the need for exercise before tea and ran a mile and a half around the playing field and had to stop when my right ankle felt tender, the muscle and tendon around it. Feels very slightly sore to touch. Will wear boots when I walk to get the papers in the morning and will leave it a couple of days at least before I run.
Highlight of the day was briefly chatting to George (Yoga teacher) whilst queuing at Morrisons.
