me time.

After a hectic week, I had a Sunday of leisure. I got up late and had beans on toast, which is impressive in itself because I never seem to have the time for breakfast, or indeed any food in the house.

I mustered the energy to leave the house by about 3, and read my book surrounded by children and an unwelcome man at the next table who kept talking to me.

My evening was spent watching 'Pépé le Moko', a film about Colonial Algeria which I rather enjoyed. I also read Tamara Drewe in its entirety, which was not at all productive but just what I needed.
