Stories with Sam

My friend Claire has been stuck in Guys Hospital for six days now (not Covid-19 related) and is pretty fed up with no books or magazines allowed due to infection risk.

So I had the idea of reading a story on Facebook live for her to watch. My cousin’s 9 year old daughter enjoys my storytelling at bedtime when I visit so I knew she’d enjoy watching too (on her mummy’s phone).

I chose my favourite childhood book Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland chapters 1 and 2. What surprised me is how so many of my friends without children tuned in to watch and asked for more! I might have started something now.
