Haircut
Time to give my husband a shearing with the clippers, he does look the better for it! Almost more time is spent cleaning up afterwards as my son hates to discover his study chair has been infested with hairs!
Since the new tennis balls had finally arrived we were keen to give them a try and it looked promising when we arrived at the school tennis courts - they were unusually empty. We soon discovered that’s because tennis has been added to the list of banned activities, so it was another bike ride - we tempted my son out with the offer to try the new ebike.
Our route got a bit hairy after we came out of Parliament House but it was lovely riding through the bush around Parliament. Two flat tires - me near the rowing sheds and my husband back towards the high school. We weren’t exactly prepared but because two of the bikes were folding it wasn’t a huge hassle for my husband to return to the house and rescue us. While I was waiting by the rowing sheds I took the opportunity to skype my parents - I thought they’d enjoy the view since they haven’t been out of their shoe box in a good time.
Wagyu steak and (burnt) sweet potato chips for dinner. We watched an interesting documentary on Kanopy (Digital Disconnect about politics and the history of the internet. Waiting for my daughter to finish her graphic design assignment, that took till 11.30 so we watched the first episode of the new series of Killing Eve but it was very disappointing. Too tired to sleep but I’d renewed my audiobook (The Crossway - which is so good.
