motion control

Technically the motor and battery pack was a present for all of us from me, but they had enough other stuff at winterfeast for this to be stored safely away until I could join it up with my old technical Lego bits from the storage unit and order an extra wee bag of cogs and axles. I had previously built a few wee swivelling arm things for sticking wired webcams to back when phones didn't have cameras on and timelapses had to be built by importing a huge bunch of jpegs into something like Flash, but it's certainly easier recording straight into a phone even if the phone makes the whole thing a bit top-heavy and wobbly.
