Lots of sunshine today, which really lifts the spirits. I extended my walk today by going along the beach and back.

Today I learnt that the wrens we have here are darker brown than those further south in the UK...I always thought that it was the printing process in books, until I read that they are progressively darker here, in the Faroes and Iceland.
