Lesser Periwinkle

Yesterday, we spotted a wee clump of these delicate purple flowers in the wood, very localised to a few square metres in the shade of some sycamores. I took the camera back this morning and the RSPB Wild Flower guidebook provided the identity. 

In other news, the garden wildlife camera continues to capture the nocturnal goings-on between cats, foxes and Bernard the badger.
