Annual oiling

My home made sticks get an oiling to preserve the hazel shanks the antler horn handles and the buffalo and antler collars. After retiring I made a dozen and gave away several to friends. My favourite is the thumbstick on the left made of rosebriar. Apple shafts from old cordons also make decent sticks if not too thick bent or knotted.
