D and I were intending to extend the chicken run this morning in preparation for our new ladies next week. When we went to hammer in the posts, we discovered that the earth was far too hard so we abandoned the idea . We googled how much space a chicken needs and apparently ours will have twice as much as they need anyway . We’ll wait and see how well they cope and take it from there.
After lunch we had a long dog walk and ended up being out for much longer than we should. We saw a few friends on our route which was nice.
Managed to book a weeks holiday in October as a belated celebration for D’s mum’s birthday. It seems like a very long way away.
