Lockdown Day 23 - The New Day

Early morning wake up today for a bleary eyed live safari. J fell back to sleep and I got up and made us coffee.

A little later we took a trip to our local fuel garage to meet a lady there selling vegetables that we previously ordered, it was quite funny on the way there in the car. J and I were quiet, staring up at the trees and looking around as if we've never seen them before, it was so good to get out even just for 15 minutes or so.

When we got back and cleaned hands etc. we took a short walk in the garden to check out the butternut we planted, J got all excited.... The bush bean she planted about 4 days ago, made an appearance.... Yay!

This afternoon I was attacked.... attacked by the nap monster!! Yup, I took a well needed nap this afternoon!

This evening we had our first lockdown braai (BBQ), lamb chops, potato salad and a lovely fresh carrot salad.... Yum!!
