Sean - The Novice Beekeeper

This is Sean (well he tells me tis he but of course could be anyone really). He has just started keeping bees - built the hives from flatpacks, went on a couple of training days. Was promised a mentor and support etc etc. Then of course Covid19 arrives (as do the bees) but no mentor, support etc etc. He had to collect the bees in his car (leave the windows open just in case any get out)!!! Well it seems that all is going well so far. he tells me that he now has to leave them alone for a week so that they don't get stressed. I agree that the absolute last thing one wants is stressed bees!
