Snow Blooms and Late Sun

The flowers are our neighbors' pink azaleas along the border fence in the morning after an inch of overnight snow, and the extra displays a broad view at 18:50, 50 minutes before sunset.  The snowy group is in the right-hand corner of the extra. 

Today is my birthday (a big one, though I won't say which).  Marylee served a wonderful dinner of chicken and rice in a savory sauce with a liberal dose of capers.  A wonderful day!  (In normal times we go out for dinner on birthdays, but we are not in normal times.)
