Snowdrops
The snowdrops seem to have thrived underneath the snow. This photo was taken with a very wide lens which makes our front garden look HUGE.
Our house was built in 1888 by Algernon, 15th Duke of Somerset, whose ducal "seat" is just up the lane from here. He built it for a tenant farmer. We always joke that he used the same architect as he used to built the local water works and railway station - it's a peculiarly Victorian style of hard red brick.
