Snowball bush

I quite like these but have managed to kill the one I was given! This was seen on our walk with Elvis this morning. We dropped off some spare seed potatoes and a thornless blackberry I'd rooted from my own, to Carmen our nearest neighbour, and had a chat at a distance with her.
We carried on walking, and got home a couple of hours later, all three of us quite wet as it has been drizzling all day.
We need the rain, but it's so warm that I think it's evaporating before it gets down into the soil.
