During the Japanese New Year sales, the shops sell "Good Luck Bags" (like lucky dip things). You can't see what's inside, but the Muji ones were guaranteed to have a 2013 yen gift card in them, and cost 2013 yen, so you couldn't really lose (provided there was 2013 yen of stuff you wanted to buy at Muji).

In ours we got the gift card and this bear - I think it's something to do with Hokkaido, but can't remember what.

Oh yeah, I remember on the outside of the lucky bag (actually this was more of a tube, but anyway...), it had a list of things it was guaranteed to contain, and one of the things it boasted of containing was just a flyer for Muji itself. Seriously!?
