Freewheeling

Another beautiful sunny day, so V and I decided on a bike ride.  I did some Factetiming (very funny to see Mx doing his downward dog yoga poses, interspersed with a lot of jumping around!), then made some biscuits and packed them up. V organised the crisps and sandwiches and we met in Portobello. We were going to go along the cycle way along the coast but the wind was fiercely cold and so we headed inland and enjoyed a really lovely trek along the River Esk and back on a rather circuitous route (see extra). Out of the wind off the sea it was glorious...beautiful sunshine and lots of blossom, wild garlic in the woods and flowers bursting out everywhere.
Back home for a very welcome cup of tea and some lemon drizzle cake before faffing around with Flickr and sorting photos out a bit - I'm going to use some of this lockdown time to get my photo albums in order. The sort of job I keep putting off!
Made a lovely smoked haddock supper then more TV....need to order more yarn!
