Sunday papers, Sunday gardening, Sunday fish pie; everything was a bit Sunday. Except we didn’t have a Sunday piece of ‘worthy’ TV to watch lined up. So instead we watched Olive Kitteridge on Now TV - it originally aired on HBO in 2014. What a great watch - two, two-hour episodes. Frances McDormand on top form.
Meanwhile the daughter is watching the hours and days pass; she’s been beaten to the first great-great-grandchild of my Grandpa & Granny from Gatehouse, Chris and Evelyn. Yes indeed, my first cousin once removed, aka my daughter’s second cousin Jessie, has had a wean today in Perth, WA. The s-i-l is all prepared anyway - he’s just ordered up a 55” TV. Good call!
