Silver Birches
The days drift by so it’s not always easy to remember what happened yesterday when you’re backblipping! The photo is from our bike ride through Curtin to Scrivener Dam and back through Westin Creek. A golden autumn day and the silver birches are just glorious at the moment. A lot of people out and about enjoying their exercise. In fact, my husband said when he was at the bike shop getting new inner tubes, there was quite a crowd of customers (social distancing of course) after new bikes.
Leftover Moroccan chicken as a pie for dinner, bread and octopus for lunch, crepes and lemon curd for brekkie, a day of very good eating.
My daughter and I watched Emma while the boys played Civs. We’d been wanting to watch it for a while, partly inspired by a board game my parents gave my daughter. Unfortunately, now we finally got around to watching, the older versions had been pulled off the internet so we were forced to rent the 2020 version for way more than I would normally pay. But it was very enjoyable and now I finally know the plot, despite supposedly studying it at uni all those aeons ago.
Getting through The Weekend quite well, not fantastic but not bad either.
