Plainfield Rail Trail ....

… Chipmunk therapy.

After lunch today we went out to get in some nature therapy and the Plainfield Rail trail was our destination.  As well as a lot of other folks, too. 

I guess after yesterday's cold temperatures that probably kept a lot of people indoors … everyone had the same idea as us.  

We did our usual when we first arrive at the rail trail … we put down some peanuts and seeds for the chipmunks and then started on our walk.  We didn't see the chippy until our return to the car.  He was there waiting for us and wanted more peanuts and seeds!  And as you can see … he got some more and loved them!

Isn't that tongue simply adorable!?!!
