The heron is back!

I haven't seen a heron up at the Heritage Park for some months but there it was today standing still as a statue watching the goings on. 

In the next week or so there will be dozens of goslings wandering about trying to keep close to mum and dad but there are always one or two that get temporarily separated.

Hope the heron finds his food elsewhere!

A beautiful day .... walk, shopping, washing all followed by lunch in the garden.  A few chapters of my book read then it was out with the hose to water the very parched garden.
