LOCK DOWN – DAY 28
Went to the 'Meadows' for my play this afternoon. Funnily enough there were no 'don't stop to eat or drink' signs on the seats there. For those of you who read my Blip yesterday you will know that when I went to Braid Burn Valley Park yesterday all the seats had signs on them saying, 'do not stop to eat or drink'. It just struck us as a bit weird that the 'Meadows' seats didn't have such signs on, as there's always loads of people sitting around in the Meadows.
Anyway on the way home we passed our friend, Gaynors flat. She was out in her front garden partaking in a glass of vino. We joined her, along with our friend Susi, who was down the bottom of the garden and refused to be photographed. Obviously we all adhered to 'social distancing' and may well partake in a little glass of vino again. It was really lovely for the humans to have some face to face communication albeit 2m apart. Obviously the whole world could hear what they were talking about, but as no one has actually done anything, there was nothing really to talk about. The main topic of conversation was how long the queues were at various supermarkets. My human still can't believe how much her life has changed in less than one month. It's really scary! A year ago who would ever have thought our lives would have been like this today???
4 weeks of lock down complete and apart from Ann talking to Mrs R when she drops her shopping off on the doorstep, until today, she hadn't actually talked to anyone face to face.
And apart from that; Ann's spent most of today on the balcony.
Weather forecast is looking good for the next few days. Yay!
