Ghost town
It's been a good day in lockdown - my moods are 100% weather dependent.
This morning I cracked on with work; got my video done, did some work on a contract, emailed colleagues etc. A productive morning that whizzed by, as the mornings tend to do. By the afternoon I realised that some planning materials I needed were in the office so I cycled in to get them and dropped some stuff off with our treasurer. Shrewsbury was like a ghost town. For the most part I'm definitely glad lockdown is happening now, while we have good weather, but a small part of me will miss all the fun things you can do socially during the summer - namely beers at the Boathouse with friends and bobbing about town. I also found it a bit sad this morning to think that summer term is starting - always my absolute favourite term.
A couple of nice things in the post, a delicious dinner and then Marco Polo chats with Rob on our respective evening walks. Pouring over maps again this evening as a pleasant way to end the day.
