Edinburgh, the old and the new

My walk to today took me up Calton Hill and what a peaceful place it is at the moment! There are very few people around and the city is so quiet that there is very little traffic noise and general city noise to disturb the peace. Even more remarkable was the fact that I both heard and saw a Yellowhammer. Not a bird I expected to see on the top of Calton Hill, in the centre of Edinburgh. Many unusual things happening at the moment.
