Glimpse of the future

Spent all day/evening at the other house working and waiting for a deliveries. The plumber fitting the bathroom called round, the plumber replacing the lead pipe that brings 'fresh' water into the house. The electrician and the builder!

Unfortunately the builder was bearing bad news. It appears we haven't uncovered all the hidden problems left by the previous owners. We'll take this one on the chin and carry on. Let's hope it's the last!

Mrs B and Master B arrived and lit the fire so I could enjoy my lunch in relative comfort. Looking forward to the day I can sit back in front of the stove and not have to think about building work.
