Distant Hills

Looking North as we headed home after dropping Meg back to her foster home.  The Cambrian Coast line is a grand ride with wonderful scenic views across Cardigan Bay for much of the journey.  You can just see the hills across the north of the bay above where the rails disappear from view.

We've had a quiet day with Meg, ending with a long outing to the seafront where diving seabirds caught my eye, great splashes as they hit the water at speed.  We'd just worked out that they might be Gannets when the reason for their frenetic activity became clear ..... a spell of dolphin watching followed as they followed the fish up and down the coast, often not much more than a hundred yards from the shore.  Magic!
