Backyard Friend

My brother-in-law's yard is visited by dozens of deer several times a day. Many of them cross the river I pictured yesterday, and most of the ones we saw are does and their children. This was the bravest one, allowing me to get quite close. How could anyone shoot these beautiful animals? I'm headed home today, thankful for some fun family time with our Colorado relatives, and glad I'm traveling by plane and not the car like my husband!!
