Day 28 of the Jan Challenge - 'Through'

No blip yesterday because I was ill and felt capable of nothing more taxing than curling up in a chair and rereading Deathly Hallows.

Although it would have been great to have a whole month free of holes, I don't feel too cut up about missing yesterday (the challenge for which was 'Sun', incidentally). I fully expect to return to a gappy journal once Jan is over (though hopefully not as gappy as it has been), so it makes little difference in the long run.

Today's 'Through' comes to you via a lamp and the cardboard tube from inside a roll of wrapping paper. Maybe it even looks like a sun, haha!

Sometimes when you're ill everything seems such a long way away, normal activities become impossibly trying, and even something as mindless as television can feel like too much to process.
