Tough Shift

First day back at work after a week of annual leave which we have to take otherwise everyone will be trying to take AL as the current situation eases. Things have changed in just one week. After being fit tested for masks just before I went off on AL we are now going on the wards solely for covid19 positive patients which means wearing the full PPE....gowns/aprons/arm protection/shoe covers/gloves/masks/visors....and we go on and off 16 wards as usually only two phlebotomists on at weekends but four on now due to the time it's taking with having to put on and off all PPE. Obviously a very overwhelming atmosphere too as everyone is doing their best to fight this horrible virus.
