The Kelpies

I'm Blipping in the area of the BBC studios on the Clyde for the second consecutive day. By coincidence just as I was driving past there was a BBC radio programme on where one of the guests was talking about Blipfoto and how it had inspired her to turn professional.

These are small scale versions of the equine sculptures by Andy Scott due to go on display later this year in the Falkirk area. Each head will stand up to 30 metres tall and weigh over 300 tonnes. They will be positioned either side of a specially constructed lock and basin, part of the redeveloped Canal Hub.
