Someone's been busy

I got a bit of a shock when I saw that this huge field on the edge of the village has been cleared of all vegetation, presumably prior to being sown.

There was a sign on the gate asking people not to enter because the field has been "sprayed", so there'll be no more dog-walking there for a while, which is a shame. Florence and I loved our walks there last summer when it looked very  different.

Another cloudless blue sky, but that wind is still very gusty.
