Toots in Solitude

By Toots

Not caring about the length of his Fringe

I needed to go elsewhere today.
There were certainly new pastures ventured.
I had so much delightful chirruping to my ears, often the birds were almost at squabbling pitch.
I had lots of butterflies brushing past.
I had delicate blossoms against blue skies.
I had rugged cones on thick fir branches, again, with blue skies.
I had wooded vistas.
I had hill backdrops.
I had some Highland cows.
I read in sunshine.
I didn't hear any aircraft (that's been a factor for quite some time). I didn't have to jostle with people.
