The Avenue....

around the Castle has wonderful Beeches and Limes. They are huge specimens, several hundred years old.
It was another glorious day, hot, sunny and I was outside from 0800 until 1800, although not walking all that time.
The woods around the Castle have dozens of lovely tracks and trails, plenty to go at.
Today, all the Spring flowers seem to have suddenly appeared, Violets, Wood Sorrel, Wood Anemones, Celandine, Daffodils, Golden Saxifrage.
