Worth the wait !

Feeling very pleased that I have finally managed to get some aubretia to grow in my garden. I have been trying to get this pleasing  purple flower to grace my garden with its presence since we moved into our home 25 yrs ago . I planted this last spring with low expectations and am delighted to see that it has decide to become a resident . 
It’s only a small patch but it’s a start .
