I had a shadow today and it was no bad thing. His Dad took the brunt of his “spirited communication” and I got the affection. It’s swings and roundabouts though, the tide will soon turn.

Gratefuls:

1. A hideously early start allowing me to catch up with tasks that have lingered on my to do list far too long (to some exasperation on the part of my colleagues);
2. The pleasure of watching Eve’s brain tick;
3. Cuddly Isaac.
