A beautiful day
for a nice long walk from our front door. We wanted to do the next stage of the South West Coastal path which would take us back to our front door. Including stopping off to post the birthday cards for my mother in law, it took 2.5 hours to get to the start of the walk. The actual walk only took 3 hours after that. The extra photos show Exmouth beach where we started the walk proper where they have attempted to block off all the entry points to the beach with wooden planks. However, they are low enough for people to step over them which they did. The second extra shows our home destination of Budleigh Salterton. 13 miles total today and it feels like it. The main blip is looking across the beach to the firing range at Straight Point.
