Escargots

Another beautiful sunny (and cold) day here in the hills. It was my birthday today and got a nice surprise first thing when Facebook told me I was actually a year younger than I’d thought I was!

Some lovely gifts that will keep me occupied through lockdown and beyond and so many messages from all quarters it was quite touching.

My legs are still pretty ‘tight’ from all the running so I stuck to a nice walk followed by some gardening. The fancy beef I’d ordered isn’t arriving until tomorrow so a wee forage in the freezer and cupboards produced a lockdown birthday dinner menu of escargots, giant prawns, a baked cheese and homemade bread.
