Puppies!

We were feeling quite despondent. Our earlier puppy searches hadn’t got anywhere so in the last two weeks we took things up a notch, downloading apps, setting search alarms etc but still we weren’t getting anywhere.

I woke up early today, checked the app as usual and saw that someone has five golden Cocker Spaniel pups for sale including 3 girls - so exactly what we were looking for as our top preference. The ad was posted at 3am... so I called and called and called as they requested but didn’t get through and just sent a text as a last attempt.

Then just as I started a work call I got a message from the owners who explained that they had just had a slightly premature baby and with Covid meaning family couldn’t come over to help out, they couldn’t manage the pups too so wanted to find them homes as soon as they hit the 8 week mark - which would be.... Saturday!

So by the end of the day we it looks like this little one will be coming to live with us very soon, all going well. It’s happening a bit quicker than we expected, I had thought we’d have a few weeks to prepare. Fingers crossed... we are very excited.
