Spring
Continues to explode and maybe because of the lockdown I am noticing everything more attentively. The cherry tree is already now loosing his abundant bloom. The blooms got brown edges after several warm days and they turned a little pink. But still hanging on the tree. The bleeding heart plant is now fully developed, it has worked its way out of the ground over the last three weeks. The hyacinths are done, some narcissus are still sprinkling yellow dots into the yard and the late little orange tulips with the striped leaves are opening right now. The dahlias are planted as are the zucchini’s, the lettuce and the beans. It will be an exciting summer if everything comes as expected.
Drove to Eugene today for a gigantic Shoppingtour at Trader Joe’s. They have everything organised perfectly for save shopping. Left early and was back home by 11. Then the more strenuous work of sanitizing all the goods. The most difficult was the pineapple.
The return trip showed all the deciduous trees alongside 126 either leafing out or blooming. Which covered their moss covered arms with clouds of light green. So pretty!
little tiger tulips are blooming right now
