The Color of Romance

I’ve always held a bit of a romance concerning historical items. Even, like in this case, a creation that draws on the designs of the past. I subscribe to the notion that drawing on the past is the highest form of honor.

This morning as I worked on this piece I really wanted to capture the color of romance. These vessels were a gift for my wife, and her smile upon receiving them will forever be in my mind.
