Pink Roads
The quick change in the weather, windy with rain, has blown the blossom from the trees onto the roads and pavement turning the gutters pink and far more colourful than my picture shows.
It’s good to have one of the children home, we didn’t do much today other than catch up on the last six weeks.
I did a little more gardening out front and we are almost ready to sew the seeds, that will be a Mrs S job. We are going for Flanders Poppies, part of the Heligan 100 Series commemorating the end of WWI and the Busy Bee mixture to attract some ‘bumblies’ into the front garden.
A quick look at our ‘dump’ in the back garden makes me feel a little sorry for the guys working at the local recycling centre when the lockdown is over. With virtually the entire population at home with nothing to do other than clear and sort out their homes and gardens I have a feeling they are going to be busy.
