A Gap in the Trees

I had a lovely walk before breakfast down to the lake and turned left.  There was no colour in the sky to speak of, so was glad that the leaves were still on these Poplar trees.  Today's walnut count - 20

The extras missed the cut.  (1)  The path beside the lake  (2)  Our famous tree (minus a few branches!)  The jigsaw puzzle.  

I have had the fire going most of the day, as the patches of sun were few and far between!
