Day 30 A favourite colour
It's hard for me to pick an absolute favourite colour: when it comes to furnishings I seem to go for pinks and with clothing I like blues...and orange....and yellow...well I like many colours and I do like them to be bright. I don't know if this little cup and saucer really qualifies as tiny but I am tagging it anyway. It isn't used for drinking coffee but originally contained a candle.
Today was bright and sunny with quite a fierce wind which made it quite chilly when not in direct sunlight. MR MC went to the pharmacy to collect his prescription meds and was able to pick up some anti histamine stuff for me. I continued the sorting and clearing of all things that had been dragged out of the utility room and managed to fill a couple of bags ready for disposing/recycling when the time comes.
For the first time today, the state of dentistry made the news: dental surgeries are closed by order and as with GPs can only give telephone consultations and analgesics and antibiotics where appropriate. Dentists have been told by their indemnity insurers that they will not be covered if they perform 'invasive' work without full PPE: not much chance of getting that. There are supposed to be 200 Urgent Dental Care centres opening around the country but 1/3 are not operational. Those that are will only see what they they deem as urgent cases i.e. can't breathe as this man can testify.
