Take Off

Many fewer planes taking off but here's a swan  lifting itself out of the water. They look ungainly when they're doing this. I suppose there's quite a weight to get airborne.

For the first time in about five weeks we took a walk together. We've been walking separately to give Flora more exercise. But she really has had plenty of walks in the past few weeks. She will get another walk later when Lyn uses her daily exercise and she has the garden to run around in. She really isn't deprived of stimulation.

A good walk over the fields and by the river. Spring is everywhere and it is a delight to hear the birdsong so clearly. The wind isn't quite as fresh so it felt much warmer today. We sat at the front with our coffee and greeted people walking past.

I have some emails to write and send, the catch ups with the grandchildren to organise and online yoga later. There is plenty to do in the garden. I'll keep myself well occupied.
