Oak in Winter

There's something about trees in winter I like. This oak tree is in a garden across the road from our house which meant I could just open the front door to take pictures. The sky is totally grey and we've had drizzle all day which gives me an excuse not to go into town this afternoon as I'd intended but to sit in front of the fire and watch my recorded episode of Borgen.
