Bits and pizzas......

Today at lunchtime, we were delighted to receive a pile of enormous pizzas, sent to us by our local takeaway.

I'd heard that this particular company have been sending out free pizzas to NHS workers, but we never expected similar treatment because we have it MUCH easier than the people working in hospitals and care homes.

It's been a revelation over the past few weeks, to see how people behave in such difficult circumstances. We've had cards, sweets, bottles of wine, (and a fair bit of abuse which we ignore) but the loveliest thing is when people just say 'thanks for being there.'

So if you're out and about, say something nice to your local chemist/bin man/supermarket shelf stacker/postman and anyone else who is carrying on, carrying on. It will mean the world to them.
