Wide Wednesday: Weather

After our regular morning family virtual get-together, we had to do a bit of shopping and somehow the morning was gone.

We were out on the bikes this afternoon in blue sky weather. This is a view of the Tor I've not blipped before, taken from the top of the only hill on our route while I was admiring the view / catching my breath! Not a lot of weather around other than a hint of cloud over the distant Mendips.

For those of you wanting your weekly dose of Sophie, she's in extras posing with her latest artistic creation, Rainbow the Robot. She and Kate made this in this morning's art "lesson" and emailed the photo to us.

Today's Shakespeare sonnet is:

Sonnet 75

So are you to my thoughts as food to life,
Or as sweet-season’d showers are to the ground;
And for the peace of you I hold such strife
As ‘twixt a miser and his wealth is found.
Now proud as an enjoyer, and anon
Doubting the filching age will steal his treasure;
Now counting best to be with you alone,
Then better’d that the world may see my pleasure:
Sometime all full with feasting on your sight,
And by and by clean starved for a look;
Possessing or pursuing no delight
Save what is had, or must from you be took.
Thus do I pine and surfeit day by day,
Or gluttoning on all, or all away.
