So many shades of green.
Lime green beech hedge,
young, zesty, bright.
Is that your green?

The dark green simplicity
of the bay bush.
Beautifully aromatic,
earthy and strong,
Is that your green?

The varied yellow greens 
of the laurel.
Dressed so beautifully for the occasion.
Is that your green?

And the shapely,
clinging deep green
of the ivy
mixed with dark berries.
Is that your green?

Or is it the young, light,
paper thin green
of the flowering lilac?
Is that your green?

How green are you?
A loaded question of greenery.
How deep is your green-ness?
