HER MAJESTY & I?

Yes that's me aged 64 - in borrowed suit, shirt & tie - only the tie was the right size!  I have my arm around my beloved Godmother. The occasion is the marriage of her granddaughter in the tiny church of Penbryn in west Wales.

You can see Jeannie ( my godmother) again in the extra 62 years previously. She has just been married to the alpha male. It was the 3rd December & my second birthday - you can see me in the foreground wearing a coat & trowsers made by my mother (third from the left).

Yes most of the family were in uniform - Jeannie spent most of the war cooking for Winston Churchill!

She was an absolute darling...
